Dear Friends! On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the International Federation of Hand-to-Hand Fighting, I would like to welcome the participants, guests and organizers of the 2021 World Cup in Hand-to-Hand Fighting among men and women.

For 15 years, The International Federation has been developing hand-to-hand combat – a dynamic and spectacular sport that combines in its arsenal all the best of many types of martial arts. World, European and Asian championships and cups are held annually. And today, for the first time, we are holding such a major international event in Moscow, the capital of Russia, in this beautiful sports palace. Representatives of 34 countries of the world have gathered here, but the Cup will go to the strongest team. Despite the spirit of competition, we remember that sport is the “ambassador of peace,” and I am confident that our tournament will contribute to the strengthening of friendly ties between our countries.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Moscow Government, the Moscow Sports Department, the Russian Ministry of Sports and all the organizers of this event.

I wish the participants of the Cup to have fair and uncompromising fights, and I wish the guests to enjoy the beauty of hand-to-hand combat!
